At velvetmutineer we design and create our own unique and beautiful handbags and accessories at our base in London, UK. We have a selection of regular materials and fabrics in addition to a limited edition range.

Welcome to velvetmutineer – a tiny oasis of handbag heaven nestled in a quiet corner of the internet superhighway. We handcraft one-off and limited edition handbags and accessories, fusing rich textures of fabrics from velvets, cords, satins, brocades and nappa leathers, to bright-and-bold cotton canvases, tweeds and hardwearing upholstery materials.

There's the slouchy hobo which has a fully adjustable strap so you can choose the one shoulder or cross body option. It has a sturdy zip to keep all your possessions safe and sound inside, with a velvet lining. This cheeky little bag can hold loads, but isn't too bulky.

Our current collection of funky and useful accessories includes passcard/credit card holders, mini totes, passport covers, reusable A6 and A5 notebook covers, and luggage identifier straps. They’re available in the same materials as our bags, as well as a limited edition range of other lovely fabrics.

We have a range of bags to suit every occasion

There are our large expandable tote bags with magnetic closures on each side, that are perfect for throwing all your bits and bobs into.

The Laptop bags are well padded to keep your computer snug inside.

Each product is handcut and handmade, giving each one its own individual handmade charm.

Maybe you're looking for a sporty number, if you are, you'll like our duffle bag, originally designed for carrying gym and dance clothing, but equally at home with lots of other stuff.

It's pretty hip at the moment, with cotton canvas and velvet combinations.

Our rectangle bag, looks great in any fabric and with a fully adjustable strap, you can choose whether you carry cross-body, or slung over one shoulder.

This bag is also velvet-lined and the perfect size for taking to the park on a hot summer day, pop in a book and a drink, oh and don't forget your shades . . . ah!
