Returns and exchanges policy
velvet mutineer packages every item securely to ensure it isn’t damaged whilst in transit. Whilst we take all necessary steps to make sure your product arrives safely to you, on occasion it may be possible that goods become damaged in transit. In the event of receiving a damaged item, please notify us immediately and, subject to the availability of new materials to make your chosen item, we will post a new item out to you as soon as possible. Because of the nature of our products we may not be able to make a new product from the same materials. In this case, we will offer you the same design in a similar, alternative fabric. If this isn't suitable, then of course, we will offer a full refund. We will require the return of the damaged item, in which case we will fully refund postage costs to the customer.
If you receive an item which you decide do not want but which is not damaged, please post it back to us within 14 days of receipt, and tell us why you'd like to return the product. Please provide us with a telephone number so we can contact you with any questions and so we can resolve the matter quickly. Providing the item is in the same condition as when you bought it, and that you have taken reasonable care to ensure that it is returned to us safely, we will give you a full refund for your purchase or exchange it for another item.
Please keep receipt for proof of postage. Unfortunately, shipping costs and/or import duties are non refundable and we are not held responsible for returns that do not reach us. Any additional shipping costs relating to a return or exchange are the customer's sole responsibility.
